Membership
The Far Meadow is a living school and community for those who want to heal deeply, mature fully, and enjoy the long, rich journey toward elderhood -- whether you are beginning that journey at 20 or 80.
We see elderhood not as a matter of age, but as a way of living: growing into wisdom, love, courage, and a desire to serve the whole.
Membership is designed for the long arc of this work. There will be seasons when you're deeply engaged -- immersed in a teaching, participating in a live program, or spending time in The Commons. And other seasons when you need to step back, rest, and let things settle.
That's part of the journey.
Your membership throughout those seasons helps sustain a place that remains here for you and others at all times. The teachings remain available. The library continues to grow. The community continues to gather. And you can engage or rest as needed.

What Life at The Far Meadow Includes
The Far Meadow Teaching Programs
The Far Meadow Teaching programs include immersive live programs with Julia, as well as several self-study programs. Together, they support the long, beautiful work of healing and growing into your most whole self.
Live teachings unfold throughout the year in a seasonal rhythm, while self-study programs are available year-round, allowing you to follow your own curiosity and deepen your practice between live gatherings.
Once you walk through a live program with us, its teachings become part of your ongoing library. Materials remain available you for as long as you remain a member. Live call recordings are refreshed each time the program runs.
To support a gradual, immersive approach, self-study programs are introduced one at a time across your first year of membership, in the order listed below. Once introduced, each program remains available to you for as long as you remain a member.
The Immersive live programs include:
• Become Ocean: 10-week immersive meditation training (January–March)
• Loving The World Without Losing Yourself: 6-week immersion in the meaning and practice of compassion (April–May)
• Nature-Based Parts Work: 6-week journey into the inner ecology of the self (June–July)
• Words That Come From Depths: 6-week training in communication skills that reduce defensiveness and cultivate deeper connection and understanding. (September)
• Shadow Work: 6-week journey to reclaim the gems you hid away (October)
• Dream Work: 4-week immersion in the world of dreams (November–December)
The self-study programs include:
1. Building The Cathedral (Start creating space and structure for the inner life and other things that matter to you.)
2. Returning To The Wild (A field guide for re-belonging to the natural world through reattunement to her rhythms.)
3. Finding Your Place In The Family Of Things (An introspective journey to uncover your purpose.)
4. Into The Unknown (A process for reflecting on change, uncertainty, and the courage to step beyond the life you already know.)
As the teaching library grows, new teachings will automatically become part of your membership.Â

The Commons
The Commons are a collection of member-led circles and spaces where people gather around shared interests, questions, creative projects, and navigating the complexities of life.
These spaces are where we create culture together:
• The Cave Walls (A place to share what brought you here, who you are becoming, and what you are letting go of along the way.)
• The Book Club (For reading, reflection, and conversation around books that deepen our understanding of ourselves and the world.)
• The Artist's Way Circle (A place to walk the Artist's Way alongside others and encourage one another's creative lives.)
• The Dream Circle (For tending dreams and exploring what they may have to tell us.)
• The Creator's Circle (A place to share what you're making, with optional weekly open creative hours where you can work alongside other members, get things done, or share what you've been creating.)
• The Studio (A place to receive feedback and support as you bring something new into the world, whether that's a book, a business, a creative project, or something else.)
• The Next Chapter (A space for ideas, encouragement, and support as you consider changes in your work, career, or the way you want to lead.)
• The Next Generation (A space for parents, teachers, caregivers, and others who spend time with children to explore the art of helping young people grow into compassionate, emotionally grounded human beings.)
• The Campfire (A place for general sharing, conversation, and the everyday matters of life.)
• Teaching Circles (Spaces surrounding each teaching topic, where members can reflect together and deepen their experience of the work. These are led by Julia.)
You can also choose to share your location and discover members who live near you, making it possible for friendships that begin at The Far Meadow to find their way into the wider world. (Location-sharing is entirely optional.)
